Both Max Griffin and Aaronville Pool will open Memorial Day weekend (May 23rd).  Cost of admission will be $2.

The City of Foley offers Summer swimming lessons at Max Griffin Pool.  The cost is $25 per session and each session runs two weeks. 

Swim Team

City of Foley will have a recreational swim team this summer.

Youth swim team will begin Tuesday May 26th.  The 9 and Under group will swim from 5:15 PM - 6:00 PM and the 10 and Up group will swim from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

This summer the team will practice 8 - 8:45 for Under 10 and 8:45 - 9:45 for 10 and Up Mondays through Thursdays beginning June 1^st.  All swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate on the team.  The cost for swim team will be $50, which does not include the cost of a swim suit for each swimmer.  This is a recreational and not a competitive swim team that will focus on swimming fundamentals and fun.

Swim lessons will be offered throughout the summer at Max Griffin pool.  Please call 943-7946 for more information or to signup for lessons after June 1, 2009.  The cost is $25 per child and lessons last two weeks.  There will also be a night class available.

Water Aerobics is being taught on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 - 12:00.  Cost is $1 for senior center members and $2 for everyone else.

There will be a dive-in movie and luau Friday July 10th, 2009 at the Max Griffin Pool.
