Soccer Registration begins August 4th!!!

The City of Foley currently offers soccer in during the Fall from August until early November.  Soccer is offered to all youth from the ages of 4 to 14 years old.  Please note, we are increasing our league age to 14 year olds.  We will have girls-only leagues available for ages 8 and up.

Each player will receive

• Soccer Uniform (Shirt, Soccer Shorts, and Socks)
• Pizza Party during the closing ceremony
• Trophy
• Insurance above and beyond your existing policy.

The cost is $55 per player.  Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.  For the age groups U-10, U-12, and U-15, there will be an opportunity to compete on an all-star team.

Registration will begin on August 4^th for the 2010 Fall Soccer Season.  Registration forms will be mailed out to all previous participants and will also be available on the website on the week of August 4^th.  Soccer registration ends Wednesday August 18^th at 6 pm. 

Registration times will be from 8 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Foley City Hall.

Foley Recreation will sponsor a Soccer Camp conducted by an USSF Nationally Licensed Coach.  The camp will be August 2^nd – 6^th.  Times and age groups will be 6–8 year olds at 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm and ages 9–14 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.  The cost is $35/player for ages 6-8 and $50/player for ages 9-14.  Please call 970-5020 before July 28^th to signup.

All Players must attend.  Please arrive on time.  Four and five year olds will not be assessed.

All new soccer players will be provided a free two hour instructional clinic on August 21st at 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Foley Soccer Park.

There will be a coaching clinic for new coaches on Sunday August 22nd at 6:00 pm at the Foley Soccer Park.

A mandatory coaches meeting will be on Sunday August 22nd at Foley City Hall at 2:00 pm.  The coaches meeting will include drafting the teams.
