Local League Rules

    1. Each team shall bat the roster.
    2.   They can= not add a player once they have batted the roster.


    3. =   If a game is tied after regulation play, one inning of addition= al play shall be allowed.

    4. Ten (10) batter limit per inning. The offensive t= eam shall announce the 10th batter BEFORE he/she takes the 1st pitch. Failure to do so shall result in the batter being called “Out” and the end of that inning.
    5. No infield fly rule.
    6. Catchers must wear proper equipment but may use a glove or mitt (including a cup).
    7. Catchers must kneel behind the plate and remain kneeling until the pitch is thrown.
    8. One base for each runner if coach pitcher comes i= n contact with the ball.  The batte= r goes to first base.  The coach= must make best effort to get out of the way of the ball (at umpire’s discretion).
    9. Interference with a player (at the umpire’s discretion) results in a dead ball and no pitch.
    10. Coach-pitchers may NOT talk at ANYTIME while on offense. This includes cheering and directing runners (1st= offense =3D Warning and 2nd offense =3D removal of coach/pi= tcher from the game).
    11. The ten (10) run rule applies after four (4) inni= ngs of play.
    12. ALL warm-ups shall be done prior to game time.
    13. Each player must play three (3) consecutive outs = on defense.
    14. ALL pitches shall be over handed.
    15. No bunting allowed.
    16. Pitcher’s must have a batter’s helmet with chin strap.

    Minors Local League Options

     

    1. Each team shall bat the roster.
    2. Each player must play three (3) consecutive outs = on defense.
    3.   They can= not add a player once they have batted the roster.

    4. Time limit for play shall be 1:30 minutes.  An inning will not begin afte= r 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    5. Eight (8) batter limit per inning. The offensive = team shall announce the 8th batter BEFORE he/she takes the 1st pitch. Failure to do so shall result in the end of the inning.  The batter will be able to ba= t at the start of the next inning.
    6. In case of a walk on the eighth batter, all base runners will advance two bases.
    7. The ten (10) run rule applies after four (4) inni= ngs of play.
    8. ALL warm-ups shall be done prior to game time.
    9. Coaches cannot warm-up the pitchers.

     

    O-Zone Local League Options

     

    1. Time limit for play shall be 1:30 minutes.  An inning will not begin afte= r 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    2. If a team cannot field 9 players to start the gam= e, a team may begin the game with 8 players.  They cannot add a player once= they have batted the roster.
    3. Each team shall bat the roster.
    4. ALL warm-ups shall be done prior to game time.
    5. Each player must play three (3) consecutive outs = on defense.
    6. The ten (10) run rule applies after four (4) inni= ngs of play.
    7. Coaches cannot warm-up the pitchers.
