Basketball tournament brackets will be posted by February 22, 2010.

The City of Foley offers Youth Basketball for the following age groups and divisions:

  • Co-ed 4, 5 and 6

  • Girls 7 and 8

  • Boys 7 and 8

  • Boys 9 and 10

  • Girls 9 and 10

  • Girls 11 and 12

  • Boys 11 and 12

  • Boys 13 and 14

  • Girls 13 and 14

 

Age Groups are determined by the player's age as of September 1 of the current calendar year.  These age groups may change depending on the number of players in each group.  Registration for Youth Basketball will end November 16th (we will be closed November 11).

 

Mandatory Skill Assessments will be at the following dates and times:

 

Foley Elementary School

 

7-8 Boys Monday November 23rd 5:30 PM
7-8 Girls Tuesday November 23rd 6:15 PM
9-10 Girls Tuesday November 23rd 7:00 PM

          

Foley Intermediate Gym?

9-10 Boys Monday November 23rd 5:30 PM
11-12 Girls Monday November 23rd 6:30 PM
11-12 Boys Monday November 23rd 7:00 PM

 

Practices will begin the week of November 30th.


The recreation department is working with neighboring communities to determine age groups and what league we will be playing in this year.
